Superstorm Sandy Database Pricing

As a professional property adjuster and Simsol user, you are well aware the magnitude of Superstorm Sandy (SSS) along the New Jersey and New York coastlines as well as neighboring states is immense. SSS is a catastrophe of epic proportions. Second only to Hurricane Katrina in catastrophe claim volume, the economic and emotion effects of the event will be felt for years and possibly decades to come.

At the time of the release of this Storm Database pricing update, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) has received over 100,000 claims system-wide. Repair price increases for storm-related claims are certain to rise in the storm’s affected areas.

Based on our initial calls to adjusters and contractors in the affected areas as well as our own personal experience with prior large catastrophic events such as SSS, Simsol is releasing a storm update at this time.
